![]() ![]() Purple Bamboo Salt (Powder)
6.3oz (180g)
We recommend Ja-Jook-Yeom for the following conditions As the bamboo salt is baked many times, the color gets darker. In 9th stage which is the final stage in high heat, it will have 5 colors; blue, amber, red, white, and black. Well-baked bamboo salt with proper high heat and pressure will be changed to purple color. We called it 'Ja -Jook-Yeom (purple bamboo salt)'. - It made with very special manufacturing process; put the Chun-Il salt which is from yellow sea into the king bamboo and seal with clean bio ceramic soil and then baked it in a steel kiln by fire of pine trees and scatter the resin from pine trees. The process of making bamboo salt:
1. Get natural sun-dried salt from western seashore of Korea.
2. Cutting more than 3 year old bamboos into each joint.
3. Put salt into the bamboo joint there must be no clearance inside it, so all
process is manually operated. 4. Sealing with yellow clay. This soil was used as a medicine material in ancient time.
5. Put into the furnace The furnace was designed for best operation including heat
convention and radiation.
6. Baking salt contained bamboo at the temperature of over 1000 degree Celsius for
more than 8 hours. The baked salt is hardened.
7. The color of baked salt changes to red color. Baking is repeating 8 times.
8. At the 9th operation, baking temperature exceeds 1500 degree of Celsius and salt is
melted completely. Melted salt pours forth like torrents of lava.
9. Amethyst bamboo salt lump looks like a natural crystallized amethyst jewel. It has
sulphur smell, sweet flavor, and radiates ultra-red rays.
