It was known to the people at the time of the first divine king of ancient Korea. He built the 'City of Light' to teach people the ultimate truths of the Cosmos and to raise the civilization of the whole ancient world to the level of enlightenment. For much of Korea's history, Chun Bu Kyung was the foundation of government and education until the tradition ceased and the text was forgotten by almost all Korean people about two thousand years ago. It had to wait for two millennium to be rediscovered, understood and incorporated into a modern system of education and training. It teaches about Han (the Ultimate Oneness), and its basic trinity, Heaven, Earth and Human, and the relationship between them. It includes the basic principles of the Cosmos, Creation, Evolution, Growth and Consummation and, at the same time, the continuous existence of Oneness behind the apparent ceaseless changes in the cosmic cycle which begins from One and ends into One. |
